Start Drinking Aloe Juice for Better Health

General skin care products in the form of herbal preparations keep been used by man for many thousands of years.

Aloe Vera is one of the oldest and most effective natural skin care products. Although most people think of Aloe as a topical treatment for wound and skin care it can be taken internality and the benefits are wide reaching for total health.

Drinking Aloe juice not only helps clear your skin it helps with other important health functions like...

  • Weight loss
  • Digestion
  • Constipation
  • Detoxing
  • Acid-Reflux

And these are just some of the benefits gained from drinking Aloe!

Once science has sage how to synthesize new chemicals and mass create them it was nearly the death sentence for many herbal skin care products.

Unfortunately many of these natural formulas where never written down as they were handed down by word of mouth so only a small number remain, there are even people that have never use a herbal product.

There are a number of reasons why we have gradually turned our backs on natural skin care products but probably the biggest is the huge commercial market which herbal preparations could never keep up with. Even herbal skin care products have been commercialized and many commercial herbal skin care products have to be mixed with preservatives in order to increase their shelf-life, hence making them less effective than the fresh ones made at home.

However, it seems that things are changing quickly and further people are now opting for natural and herbal skin care routines. While commercial manufacturers can produce them cheaper then that is how the majority of us will buy them but do you know what they actually are?

The most famous is probably aloe Vera which is extracted from an aloe plant and is very effective at treating sunburn and other skin problems including cuts; in fresh form it is a natural skin hydrating compound. Herbs like dandelion, chamomile, lime flowers and rosemary are often used with other herbs like tea and are used as herbal cleansers.

To protect from infection and help the skin, the herbs lavender, marigold, thyme and fennel can be used, all of which have antiseptic properties. Even tea can be used to help treat skin that has been damaged by to much UV radiation when formulated into a herbal skin care product.

Many herbal products contain oils taken from the plants themselves in diluted and undiluted for like tea tree, primrose and lavender oils. Bananas, apple and melon have hydration properties and are very good for the skin, which is why so many manufacturers use them in bath and shower gels etc.

Most herbal skin care products don't have any side effects and Aloe Vera juice is no exception; which is the most important reason for preferring them over synthetic products, moreover, herbal skin care products can be easily made at home, hence making them even more attractive.

Despite the apparent love for all things herbal, whether mass produced or not, there are occasions when a synthetic skin care preparation may be better than a herbal one.

It pays to look after your skin whether by herbal or synthetic means as it has a major role in protecting us from the elements and sometimes needs a little help.
